In June 2025, the mayor of Lavender Island, Tanzanite, and the CEO of Gen X, Cyber, struck a deal to build an entirely new Lavender Island.

The Island they've chosen to build on is located 190 miles off the coast of the current Lavender Island. It is expected to cost upwards of 450 billion pounds (500 billion Robux) to complete, before residents begin to move in.

The island will feature a completely new layout, with new infrastructures, parks, schools, cities, you name it!

In June 2025, 

Lavender RP VI officially entered full production in May 2025. It's being developed primarily by me, Tanzanite, with TANZANITE Studio. Right now, we don't have a definitive estimate for how long development will take or when the game will be released.

The project spent its pre-production phase between November 2023 and May 2025. Since then, development has shifted towards building the game's core foundations. It's a huge project, and because it's being developed almost entirely solo, it's naturally going to take time. Based on our current expectations, development could take around five years.

Five years. From May 2025 to around 2030.

That gives me the time to build Lavender RP VI from the ground up and genuinely create what I believe could be the next generation of roleplaying on Roblox.

That said, 2030 is not a release date. There's a good chance development finishes sooner, and there's also a chance it takes longer. No matter how long it takes, I'm fully committed to releasing a game that's worth the wait... something worth playing, worth enjoying, and worthy of everything that's been put into creating it!
